The most fun day of the Sailing Season is nearly here - Opening Day of the 136th Sailing Season
Are you planning on coming for Opening Day?
Please let me know as we have to track numbers. If you have already registered, no worries.
Also, for all volunteers that are already on the roster to help out, please read and fill out this form and bring it with you.
Come through Reception, We will do a temperature test and give you a wrist band to denote that you are a volunteer. This will help us manage the numbers of people on the grounds. Please call me if you have any questions.

Arrival of Guests of Honour, Governor of Queensland and Mrs de Jersey

Opening Day Ceremony – on the Boardwalk Stage

Fleet Sail Past – guests are invited to board a vessel or enjoy the spectacle from the shore – see details attached

Opening Day Festival commences and continues throughout the afternoon
and evening on the lawn for members, guests and bona fide visitors.

Sail Past
Numbers participating in the Sail Past are not restricted – so we are
encouraging you all to join in.
Please see attached the details for ‘Dressing of Ships’
and the Sail Past Instructions. Please pay particular notice to the
Sail Past Instructions and observe all directions provided by the
Marshall on the day.
If you would like to pre-register for the Sail Past please call
Reception and provide the details of your boat, your number board will
be available for collection prior to the day otherwise we will have a
registration table set up along Flagship Drive to allow for registration
on the day.
