Course Laying Session two

This is a "New" version of the course laying seminar - we have broken the course laying training into two sessions to be able to bring it into line with our new program.  This is the second session.

This "Session Two" is part of the requisite criteria for any course layer on the RQYS Sailing Volunteer Team. Your participation will count in the "Towards 2018" training program.

This training will continue to look at course laying, including the race management aspects of each mark, and go into more depth on using a "cherry buoy" and  include information on using a GPS to set the course.

Guy Morton will be conducting the session with the theory portion in the classroom and a practical session on the water on the Southern Course during the OTB club racing in the afternoon.

Please express your interest by signing up. You will be working with a mentor to help reinforce what you have learned.

Course materials will be provided on the day.
