Come early to help dress the boats and be a part of the Sail Past!  We will need volunteers to help dress the boats as it takes many hands. Then you can come out and be a part of the fun!

1000 hours     Guests assemble on Boardwalk for Official Ceremony   Guest seating in marquee
(I would like to get as many volunteers together in one spot to make a real show of who we are!)  Please everyone wear your volunteer shirts.  It will be great to have us all there together and representing the RQYS Sailing Volunteers Team.

After the Sail Past finishes we will beheading out to the bay for one fun race!  The WAGS team will be doing a pursuit race and the other course will be doing a fun race, a very short race - so we can all get back to shore and enjoy the festivities!

The Sailing Instructions for Opening Day are on the website here: http://www.rqys.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/Opening-Day-SIs2016.pdf

Have a look, you will see it just a quick fun race, so we can play!
let me know if you can come I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.  Even if you don;t want to stay and volunteer, come for the ceremony.
